If you own a company that either sells something, or provides a service of some type, the answer is likely yes, and i'll tell you why. The internet is becoming the one stop resource for getting information for a growing number of people of all ages. I guess to put it into perspective, think of the last time you needed to find something, and didnt know who or what company offered what you were looking for, where did you go to look? After you would likely ask friends and if they didn't know of a source most people would turn to the internet.
If you still need convincing, then just take a peek at what your competition is already doing, you can probably find them here.
I don't have to explain to you the obvious marketing potential a web site has to offer. You can almost consider it a virtual sales staff that works for you 24 hours a day. I like to think of it less like a web 'site' for your company and more like a web image. You wouldnt go to an important meeting dressed poorly and unprepared, you would come across unprofessional, and would inevitably make a bad first impression thus likely reducing your chances for closing a sale. Your website isn't much different from that in person first impression. Many times a companies web image is the first impression they get. If the online image is poorly presented or doesn't exist at all, well there is a potential customer that may be turned away.
I am not a marketing expert, but I am well aware of the role a website needs to play in a marketing strategy. From consistent logo display and recognition to presentation of products and services, it all ties together.
We'll talk about it. Not every website layout approach is ideal for all companies. We need to find out what your needs are, and see if the web offers a viable solution that is compatible with your current business model. Since a website is really an extension of a larger marketing effort in most cases, we would include many of those elements into the page(s) for consistency. If your interested in getting an online image then let me know, we cat talk about the details.
There are so many small companies that are not taking full advantage of the most used marketing platform around today; the internet.
