This 1,456 S.F. lakefront home was designed with a budget of only $145,000.00 So it was a design challenge from the beginning. I wanted to keep the roofline simple and the footprint easy to lay out for building. This floor plan was typical of the lake home living design approach where the living room, or great room is facing the lake side with lots of glass to maximize the view from all parts of the room. This plan, and seemingly most lake home plans have an open kitchen design and modest dining/breakfast area that opens and flows right into the great room.
